The Precognitive Dream Contest

Hosted by

Cynthia Pearson and Robert Waggoner

I. What is precognitive dreaming?

Precognitive dreaming refers to the acquisition of knowledge or perceptions of future events while in the sleep state.  The precognitive information may be symbolic, literal or a mixture of both.  It comes in a number of forms including visual, vocal and emotive.

Precognitive dreaming is a widespread and relatively common occurrence among many dreamers, who receive information on everything from mundane personal

incidents to significant national and international events.

II. How the Precognitive Dream Contest Works

Participants follow the instructions below to try and dream ahead of time of a target picture that will be randomly selected on Monday, September 30, 2002. All entries must be submitted no later than 9 PM, Eastern Daylight Time, on Sunday, September 29. Judges will then review each entry and their findings will be posted online on Tuesday, October 1, 2002.

Precognitive Dream Contest Instructions                       [printable version]

1)      Print this form and take it to bed with you.

 2)      Make sure you place a pen and paper within easy reach of your bedside.

3)  Read over this paragraph at bedtime:

I am requesting information from my dreams. I would like a dream that will answer my question, “What will be the target picture that will be selected on Monday, September 30, 2002?” I want a simple picture that I can understand. I will rise in the morning with the dream picture fresh in my mind. I will be able to remember it easily and write it down.

 4) Repeat these instructions to yourself as you fall asleep.

 5) Record your dream memories as soon as you awaken, even if it’s the middle of the night. Be as descriptive as you can. If you record more than one dream, please give each a number.

 6) E-mail your dream(s) to: cpearson@nauticom.net and dreambob@aol.com . Entries must be received no later than 9 PM EDT, on Sunday, September 29, 2002, so allow for the time lag that sometimes occurs with e-mail.

 7) You  may use your own name or a pseudonym, but do provide us with some means of identifying you.

III. Discussion

In his presentation on precognitive dreaming,  Robert Waggoner examines commonalities in precognitive dreams that may allow the dreamer to identify proactively the dreams that have precognitive information.  By using his Precognitive Pattern Process system, he has avoided stock losses and made other beneficial actions.
